Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John McClane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Cheez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McClane comes to the ring accompanied by Refuse/Resist. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John McClane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, King Cheez! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cheez avoids a kick to the body.
McClane has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. McClane tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. McClane throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Horrible takedown by Cheez or perhaps it was just good defense by McClane which made him look bad. Cheez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Cheez closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. McClane quickly recovers to half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. McClane trying to control but Cheez postures up.
Cheez wants to free his trapped foot but McClane is holding on for dear life with his legs. Cheez decides to return to a standing position. Cheez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Cheez fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. McClane sprawls well initially but Cheez persists and gets the takedown into half guard. McClane knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cheez on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cheez is working for a submission of some sort.
McClane looking for submissions off his back. Cheez is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so McClane is just riding it out for now. Cheez eventually gives up the hold. Cheez is looking to take a break and control but McClane is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cheez thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. McClane is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cheez pulls his head out easily. McClane is staying active underneath Cheez, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Cheez thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. That's four minutes gone in the round. Cheez seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but McClane does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Cheez has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Cheez lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Cheez scoring with strikes but McClane is staying in there. Cheez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cheez controlling from mount. Cheez landing strikes from the mount and McClane is in trouble! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McClane is squirming around, avoiding Cheez's attempts to control the action. McClane keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

King Cheez dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
McClane throws a half hearted mid kick. Cheez closes this distance looking for a takedown but McClane circles away. Cheez doesn't manage to clinch there - McClane circles away.

McClane lands a glancing blow to the side of Cheez's head. The fight moves into the clinch position. Cheez is trying to break free. A frustrated look appears on McClane's face as he tries to break the clinch. McClane is trying to force a seperation but Cheez has the dominant position. Cheez pulls guard successfully.
Cheez is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cheez can do anything to dispel that myth. Cheez throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. McClane trying to control the position from guard on top but Cheez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cheez looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
McClane looking to sit in guard and control but Cheez gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McClane trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! McClane has a closed guard, preventing Cheez from standing up. McClane preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. McClane has a closed guard, preventing Cheez from standing up. Cheez is in close to McClane's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cheez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McClane swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cheez throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. McClane working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cheez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cheez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Cheez trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Cheez gets to his feet. McClane looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Cheez throws a right and a left that both miss. Sloppy strikes from Cheez. Those never looked like landing. Cheez tries to close the distance and clinch but McClane swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Cheez feints and as McClane raises his hands in defense, Cheez changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Cheez trying to control the position from guard on top but McClane is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cheez trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Cheez won't allow McClane to sweep him here. McClane working for submissions but it's allowed Cheez to get to half guard.
Cheez seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but McClane does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cheez might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control McClane kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McClane flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Cheez looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks McClane with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
King Cheez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
McClane throws a series of punches but Cheez moves out of range. McClane displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like King Cheez has been cut. Nice cross by Cheez. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as McClane checks a leg kick. Cheez shoots in for a takedown but McClane shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. McClane defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cheez. Cheez shoots in looking for a takedown. McClane tries to sprawl out of it but Cheez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. McClane manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. John McClane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of King Cheez. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McClane throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Cheez is rocked! McClane content just to control the position here. Cheez is still in real trouble! Can McClane finish him? Cheez takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. McClane landing strikes from the mount. Cheez tries to reverse the position but McClane maintains control. McClane looking to control and managing it successfully. Cheez really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
McClane controlling the pace for now. Cheez seems to have recovered his senses. McClane tries to control but Cheez wriggling away.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of John McClane. A thudding body kick lands there by McClane!
McClane throws a right hand that Cheez ducks under and follows up with a left that Cheez also avoids with ease. Cheez ducks right into an uppercut from McClane. King Cheez is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That has opened up King Cheez's cut even more. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McClane scores with a jab to the jaw. McClane misses with a head kick.

and Cheez counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for McClane! Cheez looking to control and managing it successfully.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by King Cheez. Cheez rushes McClane and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cheez wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
McClane manages to break the clinch.
The fighters circling - McClane throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Cheez shoots in looking for a takedown but McClane manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cheez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. McClane connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Cheez! He's out on his feet! McClane rushes in and drops Cheez with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). John McClane! After the fight, John McClane was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
