Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alex Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jebidiah Knepp! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson throws a jab but it's blocked by Knepp. Knepp throws a big shot that misses. Crunch! Knepp slams his shin into Jackson's torso. Jackson ducks under a wild hook from Knepp. Knepp with a lazy takedown attempt and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Knepp avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Knepp throws a sloppy head kick and Jackson moves out of range easily. Knepp walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Jackson checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Knepp scores with a shot to the body.
Knepp swings away with a leg kick that misses. Jackson misses with a kick to the body and Knepp counters with a nice body kick. Knepp throws a head kick but Jackson moves out of range.

Knepp dives in and grabs Jackson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes down on Knepp's head and hops out. Jackson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jackson is controlling the pace.
Knepp regains full guard. Nicely done. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knepp had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jackson defends it easily. Jackson stopping the sweep attempt from Knepp. Knepp has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Jackson has passed into side control.
Jackson has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Knepp! Jackson punishing his opponent with strikes. BOOM! Jackson connects with a massive shot to the dome!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson prevents Knepp from getting the reversal. Knepp tries to hold on but Jackson postures up. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jackson in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Knepp is desperately trying to improve his position but Jackson has a good base and remains in mount. Jackson connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Jackson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Knepp is desperately trying to improve his position but Jackson has a good base and remains in mount. Knepp in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Knepp is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson working away from the top, dropping strikes. Knepp takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Jackson is in the full mount, landing strikes. Jackson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Knepp is looking to escape. Jackson lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Knepp is rocked! Knepp taking shots to the head. Knepp is still in real trouble! Can Jackson finish him? We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Knepp tries to get back to half guard but can't. Knepp seems to have recovered his senses. Jackson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Jackson is landing with some decent strikes but Knepp is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Knepp is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The referee warns Knepp that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Knepp tries to reverse the position but Jackson maintains control. Jackson landing strikes, looking to finish! Knepp is in all sorts of trouble here.
