Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kelvin Shum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Axel Excel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Excel comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Everything Zen- Bush kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shum throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Excel keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kelvin Shum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shum swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Shum seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Excel for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Shum shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Excel pinned against the cage. Excel gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Shum shoots for a double leg takedown but Excel sprawls well. He's pushed Shum's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
