Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

22 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Viljo Laine!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Ivan Kurochkin and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Laine there.
It looks like Clint Foote has been cut.
Foote is looking to clinch.
Laine keeps the fight on the outside.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Laine.
Laine fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Foote has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Laine throws out a loose jab but Foote uses good head movement to avoid it.
Laine throws a sloppy head kick
and Foote counters with a left and a right that stings Laine.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Laine pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Viljo Laine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Laine throws a head kick but Foote moves out of range.
Laine throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Foote on the side of the head.
Foote uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Laine.
Laine connects with a looping right hand.
Laine chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Laine tries a head kick but it misses.
Laine checks a low kick from Foote.
Nice straight punches there by Laine. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Laine.
Foote ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Laine tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A cross from Laine lands.
Jab, jab by Laine - just one landing.
Laine connects with an inside leg kick.
Laine tries to score with a low kick but Foote moves his leg out of the way.
Laine is looking to score with low kicks.
Foote connects with an inside leg kick.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Laine gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Foote to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Foote works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Laine blocking the ground and pound attempt from Foote.

Foote seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Laine does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Foote has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The referee warns Laine that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Foote throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Foote throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Laine avoids a series of strikes thrown by Foote.
Oooh a big shot lands for Foote! Laine is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
