Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jone King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jone King!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Craig Stevenson!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevenson lands with a right hand.
King is looking to score with low kicks.
King fails with the takedown.

Stevenson pushes King up against the cage in a clinch.

Stevenson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stevenson throws the kick towards the body but King avoids it.
King tries for a takedown but Stevenson circles away easily
and Stevenson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
King tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
King wants to clinch up but Stevenson keeps it at a distance.
Stevenson wants to clinch.
King slaps away a takedown attempt from Stevenson, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Stevenson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. King tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Stevenson is in King's guard.

King wriggles free and stands up.

Stevenson clobbers King with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
King fails with the takedown.

Stevenson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Stevenson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
King seems a little lost for a moment, as Stevenson dominates the positioning.
King tries to escape but Stevenson is in control.
King is trying to escape the position but Stevenson is controlling the position.
King wants to get back to his feet.

Stevenson happy to just control the position for now.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Craig Stevenson has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Stevenson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
King trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

King misses with a takedown attempt - Stevenson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Jone King is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
King throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stevenson's waist but Stevenson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing King off to one side.
Stevenson closes the distance and lands a one-two.
King lands with a nice combination. Stevenson backs away looking to recover.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

A momentary lapse in concentration from King enables Stevenson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. King manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Craig Stevenson was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Stevenson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
King looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stevenson is fending him off so far but King persists. Nope, Stevenson circles away and we're back to standing.
King shoots for a takedown but Stevenson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Stevenson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
King is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Stevenson has just dragged him back down to the mat.

King is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Stevenson asserts his dominance and retains side control.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Craig Stevenson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

A punch lands to the side of King 's head but he takes it in his stride.

King has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Stevenson after a bit of a struggle.

King wants to break free but Stevenson has control.

King is trying to drag Stevenson to the mat but Stevenson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

King dives in and grabs Stevenson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stevenson pushes down on King's head and hops out.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Stevenson.
King shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stevenson pinned against the cage. Stevenson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Stevenson scores with a nice strike.
King shoots in for a double leg but Stevenson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Craig Stevenson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Stevenson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Craig Stevenson spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
