Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ealumallai Alkaff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TJ Welsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alkaff comes to the cage accompanied by Wanted. Welsh has chosen Lets Have A War as his entrance music. TJ Welsh is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ealumallai Alkaff! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, TJ Welsh! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Lou da Vinci and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Welsh has managed to clinch.
Alkaff letting Welsh take a breather here. Welsh manages to pull guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Welsh pulls Alkaff in close to his closed guard and prevents Alkaff from doing any damage or advancing position. Welsh preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Alkaff working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Welsh has control of Alkaff's left arm, preventing Alkaff from doing any damage. Alkaff drops back, looking for a kneebar! Welsh looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Welsh looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Welsh! Welsh taking a breather here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Welsh working away. Welsh misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Welsh swings around for an armbar but Alkaff sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Welsh's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Alkaff being controlled here momentarily. Alkaff loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Welsh manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Welsh swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Alkaff is now in Welsh's guard. A big mistake from Welsh there, giving up the dominant position!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Welsh manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Welsh pushes Alkaff up against the cage in a clinch. Alkaff is trying to pull guard but Welsh turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. A frustrated look appears on Alkaff's face as he tries to break the clinch. Alkaff fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Welsh drags the fight down to the ground.
Alkaff throws a big right hand that misses. Welsh controlling the position. Alkaff drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Welsh dives on top into guard. Welsh is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Alkaff is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Alkaff has escaped and now he's on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Welsh uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Welsh takes the fight into the clinch. Welsh lands a good knee to the midsection. Alkaff won't want to take too many of those. Welsh is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Alkaff pulls him back up using the underhooks. Welsh jumps into guard, dragging Alkaff to the mat.
Welsh looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Welsh is pulling down on Alkaff's head. It's preventing any offense from Alkaff, at least for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alkaff looking to sit in guard and control but Welsh gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Welsh trying to control but Alkaff is working from the bottom. Alkaff throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Welsh sitting in guard, not really doing much. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
TJ Welsh dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Welsh swats away the attempt to clinch by Alkaff. Welsh shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Alkaff but Alkaff pushes him off and we're back to square one. Alkaff lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Welsh circles away from the clinch attempt.
TJ Welsh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Alkaff tries to clinch but Welsh is having none of it. Welsh looks for a takedown but Alkaff sprawls well. Welsh fails to land the takedown. Ealumallai Alkaff has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of TJ Welsh. Welsh throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Alkaff's waist but Alkaff gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Welsh off to one side. Alkaff shoots in but Welsh avoids the takedown attempt easily. Alkaff closes the distance looking to clinch and Welsh counters by clinching up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Welsh manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Alkaff is trying to pull guard but Welsh turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Welsh creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Alkaff is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Welsh breaks the clinch.
Alkaff darts in trying to clinch and Welsh counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Alkaff is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alkaff decides to pull guard. Alkaff not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Welsh trying to control the position from guard on top but Alkaff is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Welsh is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Welsh won't allow Alkaff to sweep him here. Welsh gets to his feet. Alkaff looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Welsh circles away from the clinch attempt and Welsh counters by clinching up. Welsh has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Alkaff uses from the top position. Alkaffis looking to pass into half guard but Welsh pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Welsh is in guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Welsh stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Welsh fails to land the takedown. Welsh has a takedown stuffed. Welsh gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Alkaff is trying to force a seperation but Welsh has the dominant position. Alkaff prevents the takedown attempt.
Alkaff avoids a wild elbow strike from Welsh. Alkaff tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Welsh just stands there and leans against the cage. Welsh pulls guard successfully.
Alkaff throws an elbow that misses. Welsh uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Alkaff's guard. Nice move by Welsh! Alkaff is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alkaff can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Welsh controls the pace. Welsh trying to control the position from guard on top but Alkaff is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Welsh not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Welsh won't allow Alkaff to sweep him here. Welsh wants to control from the top but Alkaff keeps moving. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's one minute gone in the round. Alkaff is in a bad position with Welsh working for a choke. Alkaff manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment. Welsh manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Alkaff jumps guard but Welsh stands there with Alkaff around his waist. Alkaff gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Welsh gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Alkaff fails in his attempt to clinch. Welsh has a takedown stuffed. Alkaff tries to clinch but fails miserably and Welsh counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Welsh. Alkaff jumps guard and drags Welsh to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Welsh not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Alkaff looking for a sweep. Not yet Alkaff, not yet. Welsh must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Welsh trying to control the position from guard on top but Alkaff is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

TJ Welsh has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Welsh tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Alkaff swivels and escapes. Alkaff lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Alkaff. Welsh gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Alkaff on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Alkaff is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Welsh to keep the fight standing. Alkaff jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Welsh walks away with a smile on his face. Alkaff gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ealumallai Alkaff. That's going to take a lot out of him. Welsh shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Alkaff misses the jab. TJ Welsh is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Welsh shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Alkaff but Alkaff pushes him off and we're back to square one. Welsh forces Alkaff back against the cage and clinches. Welsh stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Welsh receives a warning from the referee for stalling. Alkaff is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Welsh pulls him back up using the underhooks. Ealumallai Alkaff has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Alkaff avoiding damage as Welsh throws knees to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Alkaff is trying to pull guard but Welsh turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Welsh successfully pulls guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Welsh manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Alkaff manages to get himself to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! TJ Welsh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Welsh winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... TJ Welsh! A less than humble TJ Welsh misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
