Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valentine changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Willems tries to avoid it but Valentine manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Willems to the ground. Willems escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Willems wants to slow Valentine down by chopping away at his legs.
Valentine misses with a takedown attempt
and Willems counters with an inside leg kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Valentine looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Willems misses with a body shot.
A telegraphed right hand from Willems misses the target.
Willems rushes Valentine and presses him up against the cage.

Valentine tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Willems smiles and moves away.

Valentine really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Willems. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Willems wants to control but Valentine is keeping him busy.

Willems is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Valentine can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Willems lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Willems lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Willems passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Valentine!

Willems wants to finish this one by submission but Valentine is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Willems.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

A relieved looking Lyle Willems thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
