Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julio Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith has chosen Criminal Minded as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Dan Henderson has been cut.
Sloppy strikes from Henderson. Those never looked like landing.
Smith tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Henderson was well out of range. Poor timing from Smith.
Smith fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Henderson has Smith up against the cage in a clinch.
Smith gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Smith postures up in Henderson's guard and throws a big left but Henderson blocks it.
Smith is pushing down on Henderson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Henderson is fighting to maintain full guard but Smith has managed to sneak the leg through.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Smith chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Henderson can pounce on him.

Henderson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smith's waist but Smith gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Henderson off to one side.

Smith seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Henderson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
