Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ted Scheckler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Callahan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Callahan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Everybody Wants To Rule The World. Thomas Callahan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ted Scheckler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thomas Callahan!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Franklyn Lucas and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scheckler connects with a solid leg kick.
Scheckler scores with a nice right hand.
Callahan jabs at Scheckler's body.

Callahan connects with a good right hand that stumbles Scheckler. Scheckler circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Scheckler has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Callahan.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Callahan, as that shot connected.

Scheckler takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
The fighters circling - Callahan throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Thomas Callahan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Thomas Callahan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Callahan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
