Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Grash Mandicoot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jo Edwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mandicoot lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Mandicoot doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Edwin counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Edwin.
Mandicoot is pressed up against the cage. Edwin has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mandicoot down to the mat. Mandicoot avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mandicoot shoots in but no luck this time.
Edwin swings for the body but Mandicoot moves out of range.

Edwin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Mandicoot is looking to improve his position.
Mandicoot tries to kick Edwin off but Edwin keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Edwin connects with a nice short shot to Mandicoot's temple.

Edwin seems to be working for a kimura but Mandicoot defends the submission attempt.
Mandicoot is looking to control Edwin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mandicoot avoid being mounted?

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Edwin is thwarting Mandicoot's attempts to control the position.
Mandicoot knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Edwin on the ground.

Mandicoot is looking to improve his position but Edwin isn't that keen on the idea.

Edwin throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Mandicoot has his hands clasped together but Edwin breaks the hold and Mandicoot is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Edwin!
