Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vitor Bisping!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jack Kozlov!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kozlov tries for a takedown but Bisping sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bisping throws a head kick that misses.
Bisping listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
It looks like Jack Kozlov has been cut.
Bisping throws a jab but it's blocked by Kozlov.
Kozlov throws a right and a left that Bisping avoids nicely.
Bisping slaps away a takedown attempt from Kozlov, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bisping sends Kozlov crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Bisping is motioning to the referee to let Kozlov up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Kozlov is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kozlov gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Bisping points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Kozlov wakes up just in time to hear Bisping thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vitor Bisping!
