Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Elias Eberhard!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ciosek clobbers Eberhard with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Ciosek tries a head kick but it misses.
Ciosek swings for the body but Eberhard moves out of range.
Eberhard displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ciosek throws out the jab.
Eberhard drives through with a takedown into guard.
Eberhard postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Ciosek has momentary wrist control but Eberhard slips an elbow through the middle.
Eberhard wants to control from the top but Ciosek keeps moving.
Ciosek is looking to stand up but Eberhard isn't so interested in that idea.
Eberhard trying to control the position from guard on top but Ciosek is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Eberhard is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Ciosek will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Eberhard has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Eberhard avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Eberhard postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Eberhard is working Ciosek over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Ciosek wants to stand but Eberhard is controlling the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ciosek wants to get back to his feet.
Well, if Eberhard is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Eberhard looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Ciosek is trying to stand.
Eberhard passes the guard and advances to mount!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ciosek is in a horrible position here. Eberhard smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Eberhard is landing with some decent strikes but Ciosek is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
It looks like Zbigniew Ciosek has been cut.
Ciosek is breathing heavily.
