Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shake Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John McClaine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shake Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John McClaine! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land. McClaine bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Jones avoids any damage from the ground and pound of McClaine. McClaine goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Jones rolls with the submission and now he's on top in McClaine's guard! Nice work there by Jones! McClaine pulls Jones in to control the position. McClaine looking for a sweep. Not yet McClaine, not yet. Jones drops back, looking for a kneebar! McClaine looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. McClaine looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from McClaine! Jones tries to improve position but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. McClaine wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working. Jones controls the position for a moment. McClaine cracks Jones with a big right hand but Jones just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
McClaine trying to control the action but Jones is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. McClaine working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. McClaine is looking to take a break and control but Jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McClaine is chipping away with strikes.
McClaine tries for a kimura but Jones is defending well. McClaine wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jones, who protects the arm well. McClaine looks gassed! McClaine is looking to take a break and control but Jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones tries to get back to half guard but can't. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McClaine tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. You can see the frustration on Jones's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John McClaine dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
McClaine tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jones shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McClaine's guard. McClaine bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard. McClaine trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McClaine distracts Jones with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jones throws his legs up looking for a submission but McClaine uses it to pass to side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. McClaine tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McClaine has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! McClaine looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. McClaine decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jones to his feet. McClaine decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McClaine moves nicely into side control. McClaine controls the position from side control. McClaine trying to control the action but Jones is working from the bottom. McClaine looks up at the clock and then as Jones takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, McClaine smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
That's three minutes gone in the round. McClaine lands a nice forearm strike. Jones is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Jones stops McClaine from passing to mount. McClaine tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McClaine has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! McClaine landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones is looking to work his way out of this bad position but McClaine is controlling him well. Jones is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Jones is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Jones makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jones. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones pulls McClaine in close to prevent any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John McClaine showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Jones walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. McClaine checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Jones gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. John McClaine has got the better of the ground game so far. McClaine slips nicely into half guard. McClaine wants to take a breather but Jones is having none of it. McClaine is working for a submission of some sort.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones is looking to improve his position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jones wants to control but McClaine is keeping busy and won't allow it. Jones is looking to improve his position.
McClaine working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Jones taking some punishment here, with McClaine in his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jones is looking to improve his position.
Jones is staying active underneath McClaine, who seems content to just control the action from this position. McClaine seems to be looking for submissions.
Jones looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. McClaine is tying to control. Jones wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones kicks off McClaine and gets to his feet. McClaine blocks a head kick by Jones.
Jones fakes a jab and throws a low kick but McClaine checks it well. A nice leg kick lands there from Jones. Jones scores a takedown into full mount! McClaine is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Shake Jones has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jones clinches up with McClaine and pushes him back against the cage. Jones has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. McClaine is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Jones looking to stall.
Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jones lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McClaine has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McClaine and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Shake Jones. I think McClaine has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
