Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tuco Mendoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Furious George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mendoza comes to the cage accompanied by We Flexin'. George has chosen Lamb of God - Descending as his entrance music. Tuco Mendoza has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tuco Mendoza! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Furious George! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mendoza fakes high and swings low for a body shot but George manages to avoid it. A swing and a miss from George. George jabbing away but nothing is landing. George checks a low kick from Mendoza. Mendoza scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Mendoza wants to lay and pray for a moment but George keeps working. George is looking for a sweep. George manages to get back to half guard. Mendoza is thwarting George's attempts to control the position. Mendoza throwing shots but George is blocking nicely. George slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Mendoza postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mendoza forces his way into half guard. George looking for submissions off his back. Mendoza throwing shots but George is blocking nicely. Mendoza trying to control from half guard but George is working away. Mendoza keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mendoza tries to pass to full mount but George defends it. Mendoza is keen to just control but George is a slippery customer. Mendoza not doing much here.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Tuco Mendoza wasn't doing enough on the ground. George shoots in looking for a takedown but Mendoza manages to keep the fight standing, pushing George's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Mendoza connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mendoza misses with a straight right. George shoots in but no luck this time. George pushing out the jab but it's not landing. George blocks a low kick nicely. George throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
George throws a series of punches but Mendoza avoids them all with ease. George misses with the combination.

Mendoza looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for George! This has been an exciting period of action! George is trying desperately to improve position. Mendoza landing strikes, looking to finish! Mendoza looking to secure an arm triangle but George defends it well. Mendoza looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. George is looking to improve his position but Mendoza isn't that keen on the idea. George is bucking up trying to escape but Mendoza cracks him with another couple of good strikes. George wants to control but Mendoza is having none of it. George manages to regain half guard. Good work. George is looking for a sweep. Mendoza is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Mendoza thows a huge punch but George dodges it nicely.
George works his way to full guard. Good work. George is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. George throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
George is not content to let Mendoza control the position. Mendoza not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Mendoza seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but George does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Mendoza thows a huge punch but George dodges it nicely.
Mendoza missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Mendoza wants to free his trapped foot but George is holding on for dear life with his legs. George wants to control but Mendoza is keeping busy.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mendoza tries to pass the half guard into mount. George knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. George looking for submissions off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tuco Mendoza dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
George fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. George shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. A nice elbow there by George. Tuco Mendoza overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. George looking to control but Mendoza is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. George unloads with some shots from mount but Mendoza bucks and avoids them well.

That's one minute gone in the round. George is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Mendoza is defending well though. George let's go of the attempt for now. George punches the canvas rather than the man. George lands punches and elbows. Mendoza is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Mendoza manages to reverse the position and now he's in George's guard. Nice work there by Mendoza.
Mendoza drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but George manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mendoza has George in his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. George trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. George's corner is telling him to maintain position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. George avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Mendoza working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from George. George wants to control from the top but Mendoza keeps moving. George not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. George is fighting to break Mendoza's control of his arms but Mendoza is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Mendoza working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. George doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. George manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mendoza is on top in guard.
George has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Mendoza should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, George has tightened it up now! Mendoza should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
