Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gon Jai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustav Tedvik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Gon Jai has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gon Jai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gustav Tedvik! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jai tries a head kick but it misses.
Jai throws a right hand that Tedvik ducks under and follows up with a left that Tedvik also avoids with ease. Gon Jai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jai thows a left - swing and a miss! That kick from Jai tenderised Tedvik's leg. Tedvik is trying to keep his angry face on. Tedvik gets caught flat footed, as Jai shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Tedvik is pulling down on Jai's head. It's preventing any offense from Jai, at least for the moment. Tedvik is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jai is fighting to break Tedvik's control of his arms but Tedvik is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Jai tries to free his leg and advance position but Tedvik is retaining full guard. Jai wants to control from the top but Tedvik keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jai slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jai thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tedvik sneaks back into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tedvik has his hands clasped together around Jai's back. He's all about the action. Jai prevents Tedvik from improving his position. Jai is trying to control the action in half guard but Tedvik is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Jai tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tedvik knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Tedvik regains full guard. Nicely done. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tedvik is on top in guard.
Jai is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tedvik is aware though and is defending well. Jai working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tedvik doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tedvik manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Tedvik keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jai's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tedvik is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Jai working for a triangle but Tedvik defends it easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Tedvik stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jai swivels though and keeps the full guard. Tedvik controls from within his opponent's guard. Let's hope that Tedvik has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Gustav Tedvik wasn't active enough on the ground. Jai misses with a head kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tedvik shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tedvik was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Jai is trying desperately to improve position. Tedvik takes Jai's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Jai is in trouble. Tedvik looking for the choke from the back. Tedvik keeps control of the position as Jai tries to break free.
Jai might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jai tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Tedvik controlling the position easily from mount. Jai is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tedvik controlling from the full mount. Jai tries to buck Tedvik off but he can't manage it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tedvik controlling his opponent. Jai gets back to half guard. Jai wants to improve his position but Tedvik is controlling well.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tedvik showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Jai can't keep his opponent in guard - Tedvik advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Gustav Tedvik will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

Jai throws a sloppy head kick and Tedvik moves out of range easily. Jai throws a low kick but it's checked well by Tedvik. Tedvik shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Tedvik is taking a breather. Jai says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Jai tries to roll over but Tedvik keeps him under control. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Tedvik passes to side control. Jai is looking for a sweep. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jai seems a little lost for a moment, as Tedvik dominates the positioning. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's one minute gone in the round. Jai tries to buck Tedvik off but Tedvik is having none of it. Jai trying to remain calm as Tedvik controls from the top position. Jai tries to improve position but can't. Tedvik happy to just control the position for now. Jai is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Jai wants to get back to full guard. Tedvik scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Tedvik controlling the pace. Jai has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tedvik is working away from the top position though. Jai is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tedvik pulls his head out easily. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Tedvik in particular looking to stall.

Jai escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tedvik gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Jai looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tedvik controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Tedvik lands a couple of digs. Tedvik passes Jai's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Tedvik looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Jai tries to get to full guard but Tedvik has control of the leg. Jai actively working from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Gustav Tedvik has got the better of the ground game so far. Tedvik wants to work for an arm triangle but Jai is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Tedvik passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jai! Jai is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tedvik pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Jai wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Tedvik really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Jai.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jai tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Tedvik looking to control and managing it successfully. Gustav Tedvik is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Jai is trying to escape the mount.

Tedvik controlling his opponent. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gon Jai has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
And that's the end of the fight! Gustav Tedvik comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Tedvik winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
