Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephan Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Stephan Thompson enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Tom White! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Stephan Thompson! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thompson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling White to score with a decent uppercut. Thompson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. White tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Thompson is in White's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Thompson is working White over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. White preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. White bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Thompson's guard. Thompson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with White. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. White thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. White throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. White has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. White forces his way into half guard. White seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Thompson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. White is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Thompson defends it well. White wants to work for an arm triangle but Thompson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. White looks to land a strike but Thompson avoids it nicely and regains full guard. White loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. White is pushing down on Thompson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Thompson is fighting to maintain full guard but White has managed to sneak the leg through. White wants to pass the guard but Thompson is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. White is looking to take a break and control but Thompson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Thompson is in trouble now - White has advanced to mount! White throwing strikes here but Thompson is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thompson has left one of his arms exposed and White doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Thompson screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
