Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Crumpet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, MMA Entrance Theme. Crumpet comes into a darkened arena with his song building. That ain't classy - Classified kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin throws a predictable looking body shot
and Crumpet counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Griffin jabs Crumpet to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Crumpet takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Griffin throws the kick towards the body but Crumpet avoids it.

and Crumpet counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Griffin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Crumpet counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Crumpet tries to move into range but Griffin moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

and Crumpet connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Crumpet keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Crumpet slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Griffin throws a leg kick but Crumpet sees it coming and checks it nicely.

and Crumpet counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
A left lands for Crumpet.
Griffin throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Crumpet counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Crumpet won't allow Griffin to get back to his feet.

Crumpet lands a couple of digs.
Griffin keeping moving, preventing Crumpet from controlling successfully.
Griffin wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Crumpet manages to pass to side control.

Crumpet is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Crumpet working over Griffin with some ground and pound. Griffin looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Crumpet passes to side control.
Crumpet is working to tighten is grip on Griffin's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Griffin has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Crumpet is really squeezing tight and eventually Griffin passes out! Crumpet breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
