The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from The Destroyer both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Giorgio LeAndre has been cut.
The Destroyer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but LeAndre moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The Destroyer lands a two punch combo.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The Destroyer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The Destroyer throws a poor cross that misses
and LeAndre counters with a nice low kick that buckles The Destroyer's knee momentarily.
LeAndre avoids a punch combination nicely.
LeAndre keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from The Destroyer.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by LeAndre.
LeAndre has taken the fight to the clinch.
The Destroyer has had enough of the clinch but LeAndre keeps him there for the moment.
The Destroyer wants to break the clinch but can't.
A head punch on the inside from The Destroyer fails to land.
LeAndre wants to take the fight to the mat but The Destroyer manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
LeAndre pulls guard successfully.
The Destroyer trying to control but LeAndre is working from the bottom.
The Destroyer tries to free his leg and advance position but LeAndre is retaining full guard.

LeAndre wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
