The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tennant fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Tennant swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tennant on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Benin lands with a slapping head kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tennant comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Benin shoots in looking for a takedown but Tennant manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Benin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Nice shot lands for Tennant.

Benin moves forwards but Tennant connects with a nice, crisp jab.

It looks like Benny Benin has been cut.
That kick from Benin tenderised Tennant's leg. Tennant is trying to keep his angry face on.
