Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Masakazu Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Red Forman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aoki comes to the cage accompanied by Sandstorm by Darude. Forman has chosen Ultimate as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aoki shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Forman but Forman pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Aoki misses with an uppercut. Forman saw that one coming.
Forman scores with a hook to the body. Aoki takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Aoki drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Aoki works to advance to full mount. Forman defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Forman fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Aoki looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Forman makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Forman lands with a thumping leg kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Aoki is defended easily by Forman.

A punch lands to the side of Forman 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Aoki pushes off an throws an elbow but Forman leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Aoki has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Forman after a bit of a struggle.

Aoki takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Aoki shoots for a takedown but Forman saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Aoki steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Forman. That one must have hurt.

Aoki changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Forman tries to avoid it but Aoki manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Forman to the ground. Forman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Masakazu Aoki will probably get the nod.
