Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mort Shula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ellic McCrae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ellic McCrae is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mort Shula! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Ellic McCrae! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Columbo Gatti and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCrae jabbing away but nothing is landing. Shula lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Shula looking for a takedown here - he's got it. McCrae is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
McCrae has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shula can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shula trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Shula trying to control but McCrae is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCrae looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
McCrae keeping moving, preventing Shula from controlling successfully. Shula wants to stand but McCrae has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
We're going to have a standup here because Mort Shula wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. McCrae swings for the body but Shula moves out of range.
Shula with a lazy takedown attempt and McCrae counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Shula thinking. McCrae throws a hook but Shula blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shula throws a series of strikes that have McCrae backpedaling.
Shula manages to get an easy takedown there - catching McCrae on his heels. He'll look to pass McCrae's guard now, I'm sure. Shula is posturing up here but McCrae has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Shula tries to roll out but it's too tight and Shula has to tap! Slick submission there by McCrae!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ellic McCrae! A relieved looking Ellic McCrae thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
