Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lanky Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eldoth Kron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kron comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Afterworld kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Lanky Kong has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lanky Kong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Eldoth Kron! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kong instigates a clinch. Kron has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Kong clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Kron trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
What can Kong do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Kong manages to reverse the position and now he's in Kron's guard. Nice work there by Kong.
Kong postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kron is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kong, into his guard. Kron is looking to work some ground and pound but Kong has wrist control. Kron is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Kong keeping moving, preventing Kron from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kron got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kong has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kron has managed to get both his arms back between Kong's legs - danger averted. Kron with a nice head shot there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kron loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kong is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kron wants to control from the top but Kong keeps moving. Kong is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kron defends well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kron accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kron stays in close to Kong's body and controls the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Eldoth Kron. Kong is looking to clinch. Kron shoots in and gets a takedown into Kong's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kong keeping full guard, as Kron tries to pass. Kron is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kong is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kong looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Kong has his foot on Kron's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kron works his way back into a safe position though. Kron trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kron trying to control but Kong is working from the bottom. Kron showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kong looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kron is one step ahead there. Kron is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Kong had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kron defends it easily. Kron looking to control the position here, rather than advance. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Eldoth Kron hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Kron shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kong shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kron counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Kong! Kron takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Kong tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kron trying to control but Kong is having none of it. Kron tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Kong is desperately trying to improve his position but Kron has a good base and remains in mount. Kron pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kong is trying to escape the mount.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kron looking to control but Kong is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Kong taking shots to the head. Kong is looking to get to half guard. Kron takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Kron raining down hammerfists from mount. Kong is trying to escape the mount.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kron avoids the attempt from Kong to control. Kron lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Kong hang on? Kong really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Eldoth Kron showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Kron controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Let's hope that Kron has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Eldoth Kron has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Kong shoots in looking for a takedown but Kron manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kong's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kron shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kron was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Kron sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Kron trying to control but he's not successful this time. Kron controlling from mount. Kong can't escape the position.
Kron can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kong is looking to escape. Kron has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kron is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kong is surviving well by controlling Kron's body position as best he can.

Kong is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kron content just to control the position here.

Kong tries for a takedown but Kron circles away easily and Kron counters with a nice double leg into guard. Kron stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kong swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kong trying to keep a closed guard but Kron is proving a slippery customer.

Kron is stalling in the full guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kong moves into range and clinches up with Kron.
And that's the end of the fight! Eldoth Kron comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Kron winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
