Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Scott Proudman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Proudman comes to the cage accompanied by Somebody that i used to know. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Jonathan Paton and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Proudman stuns Silva with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but Proudman shows good takedown defense.
Proudman is looking to clinch but Silva is avoiding it.
Proudman drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Proudman has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Proudman trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Proudman is fighting to break Silva's control of his arms but Silva is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Proudman wants to pass the guard but Silva is keeping the position.
Silva pulls Proudman in close to prevent any damage.
Proudman with a flurry of punches that miss.
Silva wants to sweep here but Proudman controlling him for the moment.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
No luck for Proudman with that takedown attempt.
Silva uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Proudman.
Proudman throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Proudman closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. Proudman pushes Silva against the cage but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Proudman is breathing heavily.
Silva shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Proudman but Proudman pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Proudman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nice sprawl there from Proudman as Silva shoots in.
Scott Proudman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Silva.
Proudman looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Silva is trying to control but can't.
Proudman not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
