Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Ferro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Galloway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galloway shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ferro as he avoids it easily.
Galloway closes the distance and clinches up with Ferro, looking for a takedown. Galloway pushes Ferro against the cage but Ferro circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ferro stuffs the takedown attempt from Galloway. Galloway gets slowly back to his feet.
Jerry Ferro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gary Galloway.
Galloway will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Galloway is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ferro uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Galloway closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Galloway wants to take a breather but Ferro manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Galloway.

Ferro bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Galloway's guard.

Ferro is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Galloway doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ferro.
Galloway moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Galloway is on top in guard.

Ferro working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Galloway doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Galloway manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Ferro pushes a forearm under Galloway's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Galloway is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
