Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, William Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gonna Move!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, David Schapiro and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Move.
Move throws a head kick but Wallace moves out of range.

Wallace closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Move's guard.
Wallace with a nice head shot there.

Move working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wallace doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wallace manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Wallace working some strikes from top position.
Wallace has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wallace throws a big right hand that misses.
Wallace scoring with punches to the head and body.
Wallace works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Wallace is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wallace is pressing down on Move's thigh, looking to free his foot. Move is holding on for now.

Wallace is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Move has managed to free his arm - good work.

Move actively working from the bottom here.

Move is trying to get back to full guard.

Wallace is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Move looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Wallace sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Move defending well though.
Wallace lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Wallace trying to pass the guard but Move defending well.
Wallace looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Wallace thows a huge punch but Move dodges it nicely.
Move flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Move tries to get to full guard but Wallace has control of the leg.

Wallace is thwarting Move's attempts to control the position.
Wallace blocks the strikes from Move.

Wallace is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Move is just riding it out for now. Wallace eventually gives up the hold.
Move should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Move moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wallace wants to pass the guard but Move is keeping the position.
Move has momentary wrist control but Wallace slips an elbow through the middle.
Wallace is pushing down on Move's leg trying to pass to half guard. Move is fighting to maintain full guard but Wallace has managed to sneak the leg through.

Wallace is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Move is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). William Wallace!
