Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Crack Corn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimmy Crack Corn told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dexter Andrews! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jimmy Crack Corn! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crack Corn misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Andrews scores a takedown into full mount! Crack Corn really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Andrews is working for a guillotine from mount but Crack Corn frees his head quite easily.

He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Crack Corn has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Crack Corn! Crack Corn throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Andrews works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Andrews working for submissions but it's allowed Crack Corn to get to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Andrews is breathing heavily. Crack Corn seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andrews on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Crack Corn seems to be working for a kimura but Andrews defends the submission attempt. Crack Corn is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Andrews wants to improve his position but Crack Corn is controlling well.
Crack Corn is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Crack Corn is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Andrews gets full guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Andrews wants to sweep but no luck. Crack Corn scoring with punches to the head and body. Crack Corn stopping the sweep attempt from Andrews.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Andrews has his foot on Crack Corn's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Crack Corn works his way back into a safe position though. Andrews tries to land a sweep but no joy. Andrews working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Crack Corn doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Crack Corn manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Andrews has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Crack Corn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Andrews looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Crack Corn distracts Andrews with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Andrews is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Crack Corn advances position into side control! Andrews tries to bench press Crack Corn off him but Crack Corn keeps the position. Crack Corn works to advance to full mount. Andrews defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Crack Corn working the ground and pound effectively.
Crack Corn has control of Andrews's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Andrews regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Crack Corn cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Crack Corn reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Crack Corn taps out! nice BJJ there by Andrews!
