Dante Xylar struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Xylar gets caught flat footed, as Takahashi shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Xylar looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Takahashi is pushing down on Xylar's leg trying to pass to half guard. Xylar is fighting to maintain full guard but Takahashi has managed to sneak the leg through.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Takahashi maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Xylar could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Takahashi has cracked it and Xylar is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Takahashi!
