Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kerry Sibley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Goss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sibley comes to the cage accompanied by Beautifull people. Goss comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Absolute Zero: Define Neutral kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kerry Sibley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joseph Goss! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Goss tries to keep at a distance but Sibley has taken the fight into the clinch. Sibley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Goss fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sibley sprawls well initially but Goss persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Sibley is trying to get back to full guard. Goss is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Sibley is looking to improve his position.
Sibley kicks off Goss and gets to his feet. Goss lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Kerry Sibley has been cut. Sibley shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sibley won't let Goss get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Sibley with the ground and pound from mount. Sibley with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Goss wants to get back to his feet.
Goss keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Goss wants to try and get back to his feet. Goss looks gassed! Sibley trying to control but Goss is having none of it. Goss is in a horrible position here. Sibley smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sibley landing strikes from the mount and Goss is in trouble!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Goss is working to get back to half guard.
Goss wants to get back to his feet.
Sibley looking to control but Goss is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Sibley with good strikes from the mount here! Sibley breaks from Goss's wrist control and lands an elbow. Goss gets back to half guard. Sibley prevents Goss from standing back up.
Goss pushes Sibley off and gets back to his feet. Goss fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sibley, pushing him back against the cage. Goss using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Sibley has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Goss misses with a knee to the head. Goss misses with a knee to the head. Goss is working for takedown but Sibley is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Goss with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Goss is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sibley pulls him back up using the underhooks. Goss is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Goss content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Goss escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sibley shoots for a double leg takedown but Goss sprawls well. He's pushed Sibley's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Sibley shoots in looking for a takedown. Goss tries to sprawl out of it but Sibley keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Goss manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Sibley avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Goss shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Sibley throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Sibley wants to sweep here but Goss controlling him for the moment. Sibley has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Goss can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Sibley had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Goss is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Sibley Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Goss's back instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Goss trying to get back to his feet but Sibley is in full control for now. Goss turns into Sibley and is now in his guard.
Goss decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sibley, up you get! Goss tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sibley swats him away and circles back towards the center. Goss shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sibley as he jumps to the side. Kerry Sibley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joseph Goss. The fight stays on the outside here - Sibley looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Sibley rushes Goss and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Sibley tries to break the clinch but Goss is controlling the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sibley tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Goss just stands there and leans against the cage. Sibley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Goss is in a horrible position here. Sibley smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

A close round but Joseph Goss will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Kerry Sibley's cut. That's time! Sibley's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Sibley fails with the takedown. Nice takedown defense from Goss. No joy for Sibley on that attempt. Goss tries to clinch but Sibley is having none of it. Sibley closes the distance and clinches up with Goss, looking for a takedown. Sibley pushes Goss against the cage but Goss circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kerry Sibley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Goss sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Sibley to the ground! Goss dives into full mount looking to finish! Goss blocks Sibley's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Goss get's back to his feet. Sibley avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Sibley tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Goss smiles and moves away.
Sibley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Goss's waist but Goss gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sibley off to one side. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sibley. Goss moves into range and clinches up with Sibley. Sibley is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Goss can't fight it off and eventually Sibley manages to take the fight to the floor. Goss looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Goss keeping moving, preventing Sibley from controlling successfully. Sibley pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Goss is keeping the position for now. Sibley trying to control the position from guard on top but Goss is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Goss working for a triangle but Sibley defends it easily.
Goss is breathing heavily. Sibley slips nicely into half guard. Goss is in trouble now - Sibley has advanced to mount! Goss tries to get back to half guard but can't. Goss takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Goss is trying desperately to improve position. Goss regains half guard. Sibley lands with a punch from half guard. Goss pushes Sibley off and gets back to his feet. Sibley shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Sibley tries to clinch there but Goss circles away.
Sibley shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Goss as he jumps to the side. Sibley throws a right and a left that both miss. Goss fails in his attempt to clinch. Sibley has a takedown stuffed. Sibley closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Goss is trying to stand.
Sibley drops an elbow to the side of Goss's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sibley is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Goss! Sibley is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Goss has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Sibley working for a submission but Goss is keeping him at bay. Goss in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Sibley landing strikes, looking to finish! Sibley postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Goss looks a forlorn figure.
Goss is looking to improve his position but Sibley isn't that keen on the idea. Sibley won't let Goss get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Goss tries to reverse the position but Sibley maintains control. Goss is trying to stand up. Sibley is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Goss has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Goss! Goss stands and steps away. Sibley gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Sibley feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Goss working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sibley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sibley manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Goss is working an open guard so Sibley takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Goss rushes Sibley and presses him up against the cage. Sibley has clasped his hands together around Goss's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Sibley lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Goss bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Sibley misses with a takedown attempt - Goss sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Goss gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Sibley. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Kerry Sibley will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Kerry Sibley's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Sibley shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Goss but Goss pushes him off and we're back to square one. Goss darts in and clinches Sibley up against the cage. Goss throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Goss rushes Sibley and presses him up against the cage. Sibley has Goss pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Goss manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Goss takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Goss breaks from the clinch.

Kerry Sibley is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sibley rushes Goss and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Goss unloads a knee to the mid-section. Sibley lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Goss lands a damaging elbow. Sibley wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Sibley jumps guard.
Sibley looking to hit a scissor sweep but Goss is one step ahead there. Goss gets to his feet. Sibley looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Goss closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. This has been an exciting period of action! Sibley tries to improve position but can't. Goss is looking to take a break and control but Sibley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Goss tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Sibley throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Sibley misses with a double jab.
