The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Datsik is looking to score with low kicks.
Kyle takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Kyle misses with a hook
and Datsik counters with a right hand to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Datsik. Those never looked like landing.
Kyle looks for the body kick but Datsik saw that one coming.
Kyle moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

and Datsik connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kyle feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Datsik's calf.

Kyle throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Datsik closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Datsik pushes Kyle back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Kyle can't find room to land a body shot as Datsik controls the action.
Datsik throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Datsik blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Datsik lands an elbow that stopped Kyle in his tracks for a moment.

It looks like Kenric Kyle has been cut.
Kyle blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Kyle lands a nice shot to the body.
Datsik misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Kyle seems to have recovered his senses.

Kyle throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Datsik blocks it with crossed arms.
Datsik creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Kyle's defenses.
Kyle drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Datsik gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Datsik dips a shoulder and cracks Kyle with a mighty uppercut! Kyle falls back against the cage and Datsik unloads with a barrage of strikes! Kyle is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Datsik screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
