Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Ko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aengus O�Donnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O�Donnell comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dropkick Murphys - Worker's Song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Aengus O�Donnell!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from O�Donnell.
O�Donnell misses with a straight right.
O�Donnell tries for a takedown but Ko sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
O�Donnell connects with the punch.
Ko really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ko avoids the body shot from O�Donnell.
A punch combination from O�Donnell misses.
O�Donnell keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ko swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ko thuds his right hand into O�Donnell's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Ko tries to close the distance and clinch up but O�Donnell swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ko throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
O�Donnell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ko defending well as O�Donnell loads up on a big left hand.
Ko slips under a jab from O�Donnell.
O�Donnell misses with a lunging right hand
and Ko counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Ko scores with a shoulder strike.
Ko pushes O�Donnell back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
O�Donnell has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Ko is trying to keep an underhook but O�Donnell manages to get the takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ko wants to get back to full guard.
Ko is not content to let O�Donnell control the position.
Ko keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
O�Donnell is taking a breather. Ko says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
O�Donnell throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Ko to regain full guard.
O�Donnell missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
O�Donnell tries to free his leg and advance position but Ko is retaining full guard.
Ko pulls O�Donnell in close to prevent any damage.
O�Donnell throws an elbow that misses. Ko uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in O�Donnell's guard. Nice move by Ko!
Ko trying to control but O�Donnell is working from the bottom.

O�Donnell looking for a sweep. Not yet O�Donnell, not yet.
O�Donnell is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ko is aware though and is defending well.
O�Donnell looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. O�Donnell swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
O�Donnell is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
O�Donnell looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
O�Donnell throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Ko trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Ko has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
O�Donnell working for a triangle but Ko defends it easily.
Ko will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
O�Donnell keeping moving, preventing Ko from controlling successfully.
O�Donnell is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ko defends well.
Ko is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but O�Donnell has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Ko is looking to defend but O�Donnell has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Ko! O�Donnell pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Ko taps out and this one is all over!
