Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Les Grossman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DumDum Legutnik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Grossman might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Apple bottom jeans, boots with the fur.... Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Les Grossman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, DumDum Legutnik! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grossman gets a clinch. Grossman pushes Legutnik back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
It looks like DumDum Legutnik has been cut. Legutnik working some nice short punches in the clinch. A short left from Grossman. Legutnik is looking to control Grossman's arms but Grossman gets an underhook and turns him. Now Legutnik has his back to the cage. Grossman throws a punch but it's blocked by Legutnik. Grossman lands a body shot in the clinch.
Legutnik misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Grossman.
Grossman has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Legutnik regains guard immediately. This has been an exciting period of action! Grossman postures up and lands a big shot to Legutnik's brow. Grossman trying to control but Legutnik is working from the bottom. Grossman is looking to work some ground and pound but Legutnik has wrist control. Legutnik controls Grossman momentarily but Grossman frees himself. Legutnik tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grossman wants to control from the top but Legutnik keeps moving. Grossman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Legutnik is keeping the position for now. Legutnik tries to land a sweep but no joy. Legutnik keeping moving, preventing Grossman from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Les Grossman wasn't doing enough on the ground. Legutnik wants to clinch. Grossman looks to land a combination. Legutnik sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Nice defenses there by Legutnik.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Legutnik tests Grossman's chin there with a solid looking shot. Legutnik throws a combination that misses and Grossman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Grossman misses the jab. DumDum Legutnik is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Legutnik tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Grossman was well out of range. Poor timing from Legutnik. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Grossman clinches with his opponent.
Legutnik creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Grossman digs a right hand into Legutnik's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Legutnik's gas tank. Legutnik is trying to stall.
A nice right hand lands inside from Grossman. Grossman managing to block the knees to the body from Legutnik.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Grossman takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Legutnik lands with a left to the head. Legutnik throws a punch but it's blocked by Grossman. Legutnik trying to land knees to the body.
Legutnik lands a left hand that snaps the head of Grossman backwards.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Legutnik looks to throw an elbow but misses. Grossman swings wildly with an uppercut but Legutnik uses good head movement to avoid it. A short right from Grossman on the inside. Legutnik tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Grossman avoids it. Grossman tries to score a body lock takedown but Legutnik shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Grossman avoiding damage as Legutnik throws knees to the body.
Grossman avoids a wild elbow strike from Legutnik. Grossman digs a right hand into Legutnik's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Legutnik's gas tank. Grossman softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Grossman scores with a shoulder strike. Legutnik is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Grossman is defending well for now. Grossman looking to slow down the pace here. A short right from Grossman on the inside. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Grossman is working Legutnik over against the cage. Grossman lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Legutnik backwards.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Grossman is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Legutnik pulls him back up using the underhooks. Grossman dodges an elbow strike from Legutnik.

Grossman throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Grossman lands an uppercut.
Legutnik is rocked! Grossman has hold of one of Legutnik's legs. Legutnik is fighting the takedown attempt but Grossman gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Legutnik is still in real trouble! Can Grossman finish him? Grossman advances position into side control! Grossman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. A big shot lands for Grossman! That's hurt Legutnik! Will he recover? Grossman fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Les Grossman! Post fight, Les Grossman stared into the camera and said 'It's great to get a win tonight but tonight is not about me.
