Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adam Hoppus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and PIng Guerrero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Adam Hoppus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, PIng Guerrero! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoppus shoots for a double leg takedown but Guerrero sprawls well. He's pushed Hoppus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Hoppus fails with an attempt to clinch.
Donk. Hoppus catches Guerrero right on the button with a cross. Hoppus looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Guerrero is fending him off so far but Hoppus persists. Nope, Guerrero circles away and we're back to standing. Hoppus looks for a takedown but Guerrero sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Hoppus. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hoppus tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Guerrero manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Hoppus dives in and grabs Guerrero's left leg, looking for a takedown. Guerrero pushes down on Hoppus's head and hops out. Guerrero closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Hoppus avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Guerrero. Hoppus manages to get to full guard.
Hoppus controls Guerrero momentarily but Guerrero frees himself. Guerrero postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guerrero trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Guerrero must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hoppus has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Guerrero doesn't defend quickly enough and Hoppus has managed to lock this one up! Can Guerrero escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Hoppus on a fantastic submission victory.
