Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Fantinaz Del Norte!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jonny Webbs!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Norte connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Del Norte lands a left and a right that send Webbs crashing to the mat, dazed. Del Norte thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Jonny Webbs has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Webbs avoids the head kick by Del Norte.
Webbs is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Del Norte moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fantinaz Del Norte!
