The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owens tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stevens swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Horrible takedown by Stevens or perhaps it was just good defense by Owens which made him look bad.

so Stevens counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Stevens passes Owens's left leg - he's now in half guard.
