Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Takeru Yamasaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blake The Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blake The Snake has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Takeru Yamasaki's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takeru Yamasaki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Blake The Snake! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yamasaki shoots in and bounces The Snake off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Yamasaki decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on The Snake, up you get! The Snake looks for the body kick but Yamasaki saw that one coming. The Snake gets in close and instigates a clinch. The Snake blocks a body shot from Yamasaki. Yamasaki is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables The Snake to keep the fight standing. The Snake is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Yamasaki breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. The Snake moves out of range as Yamasaki throws a body kick.
Yamasaki tries to clinch there but The Snake circles away.
Yamasaki takes the fight into the clinch. The Snake lands a knee to the head.
Yamasaki manages to pull guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Yamasaki keeping moving, preventing The Snake from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yamasaki is looking to stand up but The Snake isn't so interested in that idea. Yamasaki tries to land a sweep but no joy. The Snake controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Blake The Snake hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Yamasaki tries to land a front kick but The Snake steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Yamasaki slaps away a takedown attempt from The Snake, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Snake shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than The Snake was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The Snake avoids the attempt from Yamasaki to control. Yamasaki working to try and regain half guard.
Yamasaki regains half guard. Yamasaki is trying to control but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yamasaki might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Yamasaki is trying to get back to full guard. Yamasaki is trying is best to control the position here. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Yamasaki is looking to escape.
We're going to have a standup here because Takeru Yamasaki wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Yamasaki shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Yamasaki looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Yamasaki is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yamasaki is taking a breather. The Snake says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Yamasaki scoring with strikes to the body and head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Yamasaki maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! The Snake could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Yamasaki has cracked it and The Snake is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Yamasaki!
