The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Zaki darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Nice sprawl there from Zaki as Kuwashio shoots in.

Zaki clinches up against the cage.
Zaki scores with a shoulder strike.
Kuwashio wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Zaki has him pressed against the cage.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Zaki creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Kuwashio tries to break the clinch but Zaki is controlling the position.

Yuki Zaki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hachiko Kuwashio.

Kuwashio breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kuwashio uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zaki.
Kuwashio shoots in for a takedown but Zaki shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
