The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bozeck moves into range and clinches up with Hussain.
Bozeck fails to pull guard.

Bozeck breaks from the clinch.
Bozeck fails with a takedown attempt.
Hussain misses with an uppercut. Bozeck saw that one coming.
Hussain stuffs the takedown attempt from Bozeck. Bozeck gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brad Bozeck. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bozeck moves out of range of the strikes.
Hussain leaves Bozeck with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Hussain wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Bozeck's closed guard. He's half up but Bozeck has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Bozeck pivots and extends the arm, Hussain falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Bozeck! Well done that man!
