Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roland Fischer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Michael Bisping! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bisping shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bisping was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Bisping looking to control and managing it successfully. Bisping landing strikes, looking to finish! Bisping trying to control but Fischer is having none of it. Bisping postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Fischer looks a forlorn figure.
Fischer is looking to get to half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fischer slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Bisping trying to control from half guard but Fischer is working away. Fischer looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bisping connects with a nice short shot to Fischer's temple. Still in half guard, Bisping seems content to control. Bisping is trying to control. Fischer wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Fischer is looking to improve his position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fischer looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Bisping trying to control from half guard but Fischer is working away. Bisping landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Nice strikes from Bisping there. Bisping passes the guard and advances to mount! Bisping can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fischer is looking to escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bisping lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fischer can't escape the position.
Fischer wants to hold on but Bisping pushes him away. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bisping cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Fischer is looking to get to half guard. Bisping lands with some strikes. Bisping is landing with some decent strikes but Fischer is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Bisping with good strikes from the mount here! Bisping controlling his opponent. Bisping is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Fischer can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bisping lands a big elbow. Fischer sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bisping connects with a nice short shot to Fischer's temple. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Bisping dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Bisping thows a body shot but no joy. Bisping moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Bisping lands with a right hand. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Bisping. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Fischer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Fischer tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Bisping counters with a nice leg kick. Bisping scores with a leg kick.
Bisping throws a nice inside leg kick. Good leg kick by Bisping there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Bisping's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Bisping duly obliges. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bisping feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Fischer's calf.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fischer dives in and scores a takedown into Bisping's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bisping managing to control the position. Bisping has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Michael Bisping. Bisping misses with a low kick. Michael Bisping seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bisping misses the shot to the body. Bisping scores with a decent looking hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from Bisping misses. Bisping connects with a body shot. Bisping tries to close the distance and clinch but Fischer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bisping misses with a straight right. Bisping closes the distance and clinches. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bisping connects with a knee to the head.

Fischer tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Bisping lands a right hand. Bisping has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Bisping. A short right hand to the side of the head by Bisping. Bisping breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bisping lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Bisping lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Bisping lands a front kick. Fischer walks into a left hand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fischer takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bisping thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Fischer if he has to take too many more of those.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Bisping lands with an uppercut that bounces Fischer off the cage and back into range. A jab from Bisping does it's job there. Bisping keeps Fischer at a distance using the push kick. Bisping cracks Fischer with an uppercut from hell and Fischer crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Bisping's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Fischer is rocked! Bisping wants to control from the top but Fischer keeps moving. Oh Fischer is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Bisping cracks Fischer with a solid left hand. Bisping passes Fischer's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Fischer seems to have got his legs back now. Bisping seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fischer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Bisping drops an elbow to the side of Fischer's head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fischer is looking for a sweep. Bisping is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Bisping seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Bisping showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Fischer walks into a left hand. Bisping works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Bisping delivers a nice body kick. Bisping bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fischer steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Bisping. That one must have hurt. Bisping has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Bisping pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bisping lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Fischer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Bisping trying to control the position from guard on top but Fischer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bisping landing with the ground and pound. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bisping slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bisping is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Bisping working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Fischer's head. Bisping slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Bisping is chipping away with strikes.
Bisping moves into full mount! Bisping lands with some strikes. Bisping lands a big elbow. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bisping lands a big shot there that rocks Fischer but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Michael Bisping has got the better of the ground game so far. Fischer takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Bisping's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
