Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Winston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Winston comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Wormholes kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! John Mac has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winston throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Mac decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Mac slows the pace down in half guard.
Winston is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Mac wants to advance to full mount but Winston doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Mac missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Mac tries to free his leg and advance position but Winston is retaining full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Winston has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mac can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

and Winston counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Winston is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mac is just riding it out for now. Winston eventually gives up the hold.

Winston tightens his grip and picks Mac up, before dumping him to the ground. Mac manages to land in guard.

Mac manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Winston manages to get himself to full guard.

Harry Winston showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Winston throws a sloppy head kick and Mac moves out of range easily.

Winston throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mac tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Winston is in Mac's guard.
Winston wants to stand but Mac has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Winston wants to control from the top but Mac keeps moving.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Winston wants to get up but he can't break Mac's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Mac might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Harry Winston has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Winston shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mac napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Mac is not content to let Winston control the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Winston swings around for an armbar but Mac sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Winston's guard.

Harry Winston comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Winston has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
