The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edgard misses with a right hand
and Dir counters with a nice uppercut.

Edgard has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dir finds it's way round the side to connect with Edgard's head.
Edgard throws a body punch but Dir moves out of range.

Edgard uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Edgard throws a lazy uppercut
and Dir counters with a nice body shot.
Edgard scores with the left hand. Dir knows he should have avoided that one.
Edgard falls off balance throwing a combination
and Dir counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Dir is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Edgard moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chael Edgard!
