Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown stalks Santos and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Santos's face. Santos staggers backwards, shaken.
Santos fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Santos shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Santos showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Santos looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

It looks like Antonio Santos has been cut.

Brown lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Santos circles away quickly and effectively.

Santos shoots for a double leg takedown but Brown sprawls well. He's pushed Santos's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Santos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brown tries to avoid it but Santos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brown to the ground. Brown escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Santos is breathing heavily.

Santos does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Santos is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Brown.

Santos misses with a series of wild punches.
Brown cracks Santos with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brown throws a series of punches but Santos avoids them all with ease.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brown is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Santos has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Brown has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Santos taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Brown doesn't care though - he's delighted!
