Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Under Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Mote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan Mote will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Under Dog! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Mote! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dog drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dog decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mote to his feet. Mote shoots in but Dog avoids the takedown attempt easily. Mote gets caught napping as Dog dives in and scores a takedown. Mote manages to retain guard. Mote being controlled here, momentarily. Dog wants to control from the top but Mote keeps moving. Mote has a closed guard, preventing Dog from standing up. Dog preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Dog wants to control from the top but Mote keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Under Dog. Dog tries to clinch up. Dog throws the kick towards the body but Mote avoids it. Mote tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Mote scores a takedown into full mount! Dog bucks Mote off and manages to get back to his feet! Dog throws a nice looking combination but Mote bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Dog connects with a good right hand that stumbles Mote. Mote circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Mote bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Dog tries a head kick but it misses.
Mote has a takedown stuffed.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dog clinches up against the cage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dog throws a knee to the head but misses.
Mote tries to pull guard but Dog forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Under Dog has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Mote. Dog is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Mote can't fight it off and eventually Dog manages to take the fight to the floor. Mote looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Dog stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mote swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mote uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Mote fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dog shoots in looking for a takedown but Mote manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dog's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Dog is breathing heavily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mote. Mote tries to clinch there but Dog circles away.
Dog drives through and clinches with Mote against the cage.
Mote gets underhooks to prevent Dog's takedown attempt.
Dog escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mote is defended easily by Dog. Dog misses with a left hand and Mote moves into the clinch. Mote is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Mote has Dog pressed against the cage, preventing Dog from circling away and getting back to striking at range. With the fighters up against the cage, Dog throws an elbow but misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dog will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Mote up against the cage. Mote looking for a takedown. Dog breaks the clinch.
Dog gets a takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Dog escapes and gets back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dog fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mote sprawls well initially but Dog persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Mote blocking the ground and pound attempt from Dog. Mote trying to control here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Under Dog dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Dog tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mote paws at him with a jab and circles away. Mote closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dog circles away. Dog shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mote sprawls well. Mote wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dog gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Under Dog. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dog dives in and grabs Mote's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mote pushes down on Dog's head and hops out. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mote fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mote avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mote fails in his attempt to clinch. Under Dog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mote shoots in and drives through. Dog sprawls well. Dog is looking to clinch but Mote is avoiding it.
Dog shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mote as he avoids it easily. Nice sprawl there from Dog as Mote shoots in. Dog wants to clinch up but Mote keeps it at a distance. Mote tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dog sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mote somewhat. That's two minutes gone in the round. Dog has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Dog misses with a knee to the head. Mote jumps guard.

Mote looking for a sweep. Not yet Mote, not yet. Mote keeping full guard, as Dog tries to pass. Dog wants to stand but Mote is controlling his posture from full guard. Mote lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dog!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dog is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Dog is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Mote looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Mote trying to control but he's not successful this time. Dog keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dog is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Mote working away from the top, dropping strikes. Mote looking to secure an arm triangle but Dog defends it well. Mote lands a big elbow. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mote dominating with strikes here. Mote raining down hammerfists from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryan Mote showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Mote throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dog's waist but Dog gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mote off to one side. Dog shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Mote looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dog is fending him off so far but Mote persists. Nope, Dog circles away and we're back to standing. Mote scores with a head kick. Dog tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Under Dog is winning the standup battle so far. Dog swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mote holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. A right handed body shot lands from Mote.
Mote can't get the takedown.
Under Dog has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Mote. Dog drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mote pulls his leg out and moves away.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mote moves out of range of the strikes. Mote bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dog is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Mote's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Dog is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mote pulls his head out easily. Mote is trying to control. Dog wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Dog is trying to stand up here but Mote is controlling him well. Mote working over Dog with some ground and pound. Dog looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Dog wants to get back to his feet. Mote keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mote is keen to just control but Dog is a slippery customer.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Ryan Mote. Mote misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Mote gets a clinch. Dog breaks the clinch.

Mote sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Dog defending well though. Dog is looking to escape. Mote is taking a breather. Dog says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Dog trying to hold on to Mote's head to control him but Mote postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Mote tries for a takedown but Dog sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Dog has Mote up against the cage in a clinch.
Dog tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mote just stands there and leans against the cage. Mote has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Dog after a bit of a struggle. Mote tries for a takedown. No joy.
Dog wants to break the clinch but can't.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mote pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dog takes the fight into the clinch. Dog tries a body shot but Mote blocks it.
And that's the end of the fight! Ryan Mote comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Mote has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
