Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sweeney Todd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bud Bundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Todd's entrance music is Never Forget, Never Forgive... A fine choice. Bundy has chosen Big Balls as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Bundy has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Todd avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Bundy changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Todd fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Todd bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Bundy takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Todd swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bundy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Todd's waist but Todd gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bundy off to one side.

Bundy lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bud Bundy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Todd lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bundy circles away quickly and effectively.
Bundy tries to bum rush Todd with a series of wild strikes but Todd uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Todd feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bundys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Todd throws a combination. Bundy tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Bundy shoots in for a double leg but Todd sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bundy shoots in looking for a takedown. Todd tries to sprawl out of it but Bundy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Todd manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Todd has his hands clasped together around Bundy's back. He's all about the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Todd has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bundy is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Todd closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Todd is working for a kimura but Bundy is defending it quite comfortably.

Bundy tries to roll over but Todd keeps him under control.

Todd stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Todd scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Todd closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Bundy! Todd dives in looking to finish! Bundy is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
