Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shissi Aren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando del Valle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aren comes to the cage accompanied by The Hood by Dead Prez. del Valle has chosen What I Do by Sepultura as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fernando del Valle has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fernando del Valle!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aren moves into the clinch successfully.
Aren misses with a hook to the ribs.
Aren lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Aren is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
del Valle goes for a takedown attempt but Aren pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Aren tests del Valle's chin there with a solid looking shot.
No joy there for Aren, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
del Valle throws a right and a left that Aren avoids nicely.
del Valle has closed the distance and engaged Aren in a clinch.
del Valle works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
del Valle postures up.
Aren utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Aren might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Aren trying to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
del Valle stands and throws Aren's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Aren avoids any damage from the ground and pound of del Valle.
Aren is trying to get back to half guard.
A lull in the action here.
del Valle is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Aren has escaped the position, nice work there.
del Valle wants to control but Aren is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
del Valle is staying tight to Aren's torso, preventing him from escaping.
del Valle is looking to take a break and control but Aren is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
del Valle has hold of Aren's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Aren tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - del Valle cranks the arm and Aren screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Aren, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Fernando del Valle!
