Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Boxer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Quik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Boxer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ray Quik!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quik misses with a head kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Boxer.
Quik jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Boxer throws out a loose jab but Quik uses good head movement to avoid it.
Boxer connects with a crisp jab.

Quik gets the takedown into side control.
Quik landing strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boxer tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Quik wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Quik is looking for a kimura but Boxer is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Quik to get the leverage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Boxer has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Quik is working away from the top position though.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Ray Quik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quik tries to close the distance and clinch but Boxer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Boxer throws a low kick but it's checked well by Quik.
Quik moves to clinch but Boxer breaks away
and Boxer counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Boxer connects with a leg kick. Quik looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Boxer lands a jab to the head.
Boxer tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Boxer jabs at Quik's body.
Boxer looks to land a combination but Quik avoids it well.
Boxer throws a big shot that misses.
Boxer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Boxer throws a front kick aimed at Quik's knee but Quik avoids it well.
Boxer scores with a head kick. Quik tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Quik tries to clinch up but Boxer circles away and keeps his distance.

Quik looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Boxer is fending him off so far but Quik persists. Nope, Boxer circles away and we're back to standing.
Quik pivots, looking for a leg kick but Boxer is out of range and Quik settles back down.
Quik throws a leg kick but Boxer moved away.
Boxer blocks a head kick by Quik.
Quik avoids a punch combination nicely.
Quik throws a head kick that misses.
Quik throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Boxer's head.

Quik darts in and clinches Boxer up against the cage.
Boxer swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Boxer tries to work over Quik's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Boxer blocking some punches.
Boxer blocks the elbow strike.
Boxer lands a right hand that snaps the head of Quik backwards.
Quik on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Quik has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Boxer clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Quik is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Boxer is defending well though. Quik let's go of the attempt for now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Oooh a big shot gets through from Quik. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Quik is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Boxer has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Ray Quik has got the better of the ground game so far.

Quik looking to break Boxer's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Boxer remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Quik will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Boxer covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

Quik is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Boxer defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Quik tries to get the hooks in deep but Boxer pushed the leg off.

Boxer manages to reverse the position and now he's in Quik's guard. Nice work there by Boxer.

Ray Quik showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Boxer lands a nice leg kick that just misses Quik's sensitive parts.

Quik throws a front kick that sends Boxer stumbling back into the cage.

and Boxer makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Boxer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Quik manages to avoid it.
Boxer throws a head kick but Quik moves out of range.
Boxer does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Quik keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Boxer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Quik lands a head kick. Boxer smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Quik throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

and Quik counters with a good low kick that Boxer was not able to check.

Quik might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Boxer kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Boxer is looking for a sweep. Quik is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Quik is pressing down on Boxer's thigh, looking to free his foot. Boxer is holding on for now.

Quik is working for a kimura but Boxer is defending it quite comfortably.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Quik is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Boxer is just riding it out for now. Quik eventually gives up the hold.
Quik wants to take a breather but Boxer is having none of it.
Joe Boxer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Ray Quik comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Quik has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
