Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ogmundur Girsurrson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chico Grande (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Girsurrson comes to the cage accompanied by Sigur Rós - Hoppípolla. Grande comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Maestre - Calles De Medellín kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Chico Grande was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grande misses with a body kick.
Girsurrson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Chico Grande seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Grande wants to clinch
and Girsurrson counters with a big head kick but Grande shrugs it off.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Grande crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Girsurrson - the referee stops the clock and Grande gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Girsurrson. Grande manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Girsurrson throws a left that rocks Grande and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Girsurrson dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Grande regain composure!

Girsurrson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Grande to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Grande shrugs it off.
