Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fedotov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Fedotov swats away the attempt to clinch by Smith.
Smith looking to score a takedown here. Fedotov is defending well but Smith drives through and ends up in Fedotov's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smith wants to stand but Fedotov is controlling his posture from full guard.
Fedotov wants to sweep but no luck.
Fedotov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Smith wants to control from the top but Fedotov keeps moving.
Smith slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Fedotov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Smith defends well.

Smith is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Fedotov pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Smith knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fedotov on the ground.

Fedotov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Fedotov is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Smith can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Fedotov working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Smith turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Fedotov off and cradles Smith's limp body as Fedotov celebrates with his corner.

After winning the bout, Vyacheslav Fedotov thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
