Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Funk Sinatra!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Sinatra shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Scott defends it nicely.
Sinatra fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Scott thows a body shot but no joy.
Sinatra fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Nick Scott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Funk Sinatra.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Scott throws the kick towards the body but Sinatra avoids it.
Sinatra shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Scott as he avoids it easily.

Sinatra fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Scott avoids it really well and circles away.
A good leg kick by Scott.
Sinatra will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sinatra scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Sinatra shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That was a close round but I would say that Nick Scott will probably get the nod.

Scott scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
No joy there for Scott, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sinatra throws a nice looking combination but Scott bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sinatra takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Sinatra has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

and Sinatra makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sinatra stalks Scott and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Scott's face. Scott staggers backwards, shaken.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nick Scott will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!



Scott gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Scott wants the takedown. Sinatra is fighting it off but Scott persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Sinatra's guard against the cage.
Sinatra is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Scott drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sinatra dives on top into guard.
Scott is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sinatra is controlling him.
Sinatra wants to control from the top but Scott keeps moving.
Scott is looking to stand back up but Sinatra counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Scott.
Scott pushes Sinatra off looking to stand but Sinatra dives back in and keeps control.
Scott is refusing to be controlled, as Sinatra sits in half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Sinatra is trying to work for a kimura but Scott is defending well.

Sinatra is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Scott is not content to let Sinatra control the position.

Sinatra thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Scott's head.
Scott wants to stand back up but Sinatra manages to pass into side control.

Sinatra trying to control the position but Scott is working away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Scott parries the strikes from Sinatra easily there. Sinatra is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Scott to escape.
Sinatra misses with the ground and pound.
Scott knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sinatra on the ground.

Sinatra is working to tighten is grip on Scott's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Scott has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Sinatra is really squeezing tight and eventually Scott passes out! Sinatra breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
