Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ajinomoto prevents jitsu from getting the reversal.

jitsu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ajinomoto gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

jitsu has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
jitsu goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Ajinomoto turns into him and now he's in jitsu's guard.

Ajinomoto drops back, looking for a kneebar! jitsu looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. jitsu looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from jitsu!
jitsu works to advance to full mount. Ajinomoto defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Ajinomoto bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Ajinomoto looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

jitsu throws a series of punches but Ajinomoto moves out of range.
jitsu misses with a takedown attempt - Ajinomoto sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Ajinomoto decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
jitsu tries to roll over but Ajinomoto keeps him under control.
Ajinomoto is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so jitsu is just riding it out for now. Ajinomoto eventually gives up the hold.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
jitsu manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ajinomoto manages to get himself to full guard.

jitsu thows a huge punch but Ajinomoto dodges it nicely.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
jitsu is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

jitsu looking to break Ajinomoto's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Ajinomoto remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise jitsu will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

jitsu is looking for the choke from the back position but Ajinomoto is controlling his hands well.

jitsu is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Ajinomoto with him. Ajinomoto is trying to defend but jitsu has an arm under the chin now! Ajinomoto grimaces and is forced to tap out!
