Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Veron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hamid Zaferani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Veron's entrance music is Breathe - Prodigy. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zaferani throws a half hearted mid kick.

Veron throws the kick towards the body but Zaferani avoids it.

Veron is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Veron shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Veron is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Zaferani throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Zaferani looks to land a right hand but Veron moved out of range.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Zaferani.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Hugo Veron is winning the standup battle so far.
Veron on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Veron with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Zaferani to score with a decent uppercut.
Zaferani lands a glancing blow to the side of Veron's head.
